Concept & Outcome
We created the tagline “Boards For Every Body” to act as the brand’s anchor concept in an effort to illustrate that the board could be used in all bodies of water and by all body types. Following this, we devised a series of simplified icons to represent the three main bodies of water. Rivers were represented with a downwards stroke, lakes by an enclosed circle, and oceans by a choppy wave. These three icons were combined to create Zambezi’s signature mark. The supporting patterns and layout were built around the icon’s simple geometric shapes and bold colour scheme.
